"Freak among freaks"

Films: Carny (2009)

Alias: The Leeds Devil, God's Greatest Abomination

Type: Mystical

Location: Civilized Area/Forest

Height/Weight: Twice that of an average gorilla.

Affiliation: Neutral, leaning on Evil

Summary: Once again, we tackle one of the most infamous cryptids of all, aside from Bigfoot and Nessie. The demon child is back, and this time, his rampage is a lot more straightforward. Basically, get caged, break loose, and get to eating as one does

History: The origins of this monster are mostly the same. Being the 13th child and having been cursed by his mother to become a demon, this beast became consumed by rage over the circumstances of its upbringing, and proceeded to take it all out on the populace. Then it got caught for a sideshow attraction. But unfortunately, the Jersey Devil's tenure as "God's Greatest Abomination" was short-lived, and he escaped easily to menace the countryside again.

Notable Kills: Nothing special.

Final Fate: After killing just about everyone associated with the carnival, the Jersey Devil is smashed into a Ferris wheel by a truck. It is only killed when the wheel collapses onto it.

Powers/Abilities: None.

Weakness: Anything conventional.

Scariness Factor: 3.5-It's a shame the CGI is as crap as we've come to expect from the Maneater series. This monster is rather scary in its visage, perfectly encapsulating the demonic origins we attribute to the beast. Also, it's perpetually angry, so don't expect it to stop and eat its victims before it moves on to the next one.

Trivia: -This film is also simply known as "Jersey Devil".

-Every single recital of the Jersey Devil's origin in this film is completely accurate to how the legend first started, right down to how Mother Leeds declared her 13th child to become the monster it was.

Back when this film had a semblance of class.

How quickly the hunter and hunted roles get switched.
"Hospital, please! I tried mouth-to-mouth, but it went wrong!"

"Must...get...eye-drops!"

Batman, was this Robin's doing?!

"Screw this theme park! Maybe I'm glad mother never took me here."

Here be non-dragons in the film.

"Surely, the panicked breaths of a human aren't an indicator to look down."
